Children's Matsuri

Japan has many exciting and fun festivals and interesting customs. In 2003, TSCA launched its first annual "Children's Matsuri" to bring Japanese culture and fun to Southern California's kids and families. There was displays and activities to reflect the different festivals, customs and aspects of life in Japan. In addition, we had Japanese food, entertainment, martial arts demonstration, live entertainment and a two children's contests: haiku and cartoon drawing. Every year we change the theme so that children and adults can learn something new about Japan and its people.

Dutch American Heritage Day

In 1991, the U.S. Congress and President Bush proclaimed November 16 as "Dutch American Heritage Day." It is celebrated all over the United States to honor our friendship and business ties with The Netherlands. Here in Temecula, TSCA has created an annual event to promote this special occasion. This event is a great way to learn more about those who immigrated to the United States from The Netherlands, the culture, traditions and the people. You can buy some Dutch goods, try some authentic Dutch foods and meet people of Dutch origin.
