The Cindy La Prelle Cultural Exchange Scholarship

In order to further objective of cultural exchange, the Temecula Sister City Association is proud offer a travel scholarship to one deserving high school student. The “Cindy La Prelle” Cultural Exchange Scholarship was established as a way to honor a wonderful volunteer with the Association and to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a local student to travel abroad who would not have the financial means to do so on his/her own. The scholarship covers the airfare and program fee for the spring 2009 trip to Daisen, Japan. It is the goal of the Temecula Sister City to bridge the gaps between the sister cities and to open doors to new horizons. Through the “Cindy La Prelle” Cultural Exchange Scholarship, we’re doing that one deserving student at a time.
